Katie Kelleher Artist Statement:
I define myself as an artist and photographer, an outlier, and a deep thinker.
My art gives me purpose, energy, a means of expression, and a means of making meaning in and of the world around me and my life and life experiences.
Some of my closest contacts, supports, and encouragers in my art career are the women in my life. I am constantly inspired by the works and energies of my peers both in writing and artworks. And the poetry of my mother and her pursuit to share her form of art has been an inspiration in how I look at the world and my place in it.
