Li Yun Alvarado

Li Yun Alvarado is a Puerto Rican poet, writer, and educator. Her work has been published in several journals and anthologies including Wise Latinas: Writers on Higher Education, PMS Poemmemoirstory, The Acentos Review, PALABRA, and Modern Haiku. She is currently a doctoral candidate in English at Fordham University and she teaches at Long Beach City College. Li Yun has had the pleasure of teaching middle school, high school, and college students in New Haven, Boston, New York City, Long Beach, and the Dominican Republic.
