Marsha Rosenzweig Pincus

As a teacher for 34 years, I spent my life nurturing writers.  Since retiring in 2008, I have been rediscovering the things I loved to do as a girl.  Today, I draw, make mosaics and create mixed media collage.  And I write.  I write. I have a blog entitled “Her Own Terms: A Post Mid- Life Woman Writing for Her Life,” I have published my first stories and poems and I am finishing up a screenplay about a teenage girl learning to take control of her own life during the tumultuous summer of 1969. I am also working on a novel entitled After Egypt that I began two summers ago at the 2011 AROHO Retreat. I haven’t totally abandoned teaching.  With AROHO, I have co-facilitated two regional writing workshops for women teachers who write in Philadelphia: A Room of Our Making in 2011 and Many Women, Many Stories in 2013.
