Elizabeth Kenneday Artist Statement:

Artist and author Elizabeth Kenneday, an Emeritá Professor of Art at the
California State University in Long Beach, is active in environmental education through
art. Her artworks have been exhibited internationally, and her writings on the subject
have appeared in various publications. She has been the recipient of a Fulbright Scholar
Fellowship at the University of Iceland. Most recently, her artist’s book Headlines
Journal was included in the Women Eco Dialog’s Smaller Footprints exhibition, part of
the Lancaster Museum of Art & History’s (MOAH) award-winning Green MOAH
Initiative. Her book Regarding Mono Lake: Novelty and Delight at an Inland Sea was
released in 2014.
