Irene Sheri Vishnevskaya Artist Statement:
I graduated Academy of Arts in St-Petersburg , Russia in 2000.
In late 2001, my works attracted attention of a major Disney affiliated creative artist management agency, which brought me to the States to launch American exhibits of my paintings .
Over the years my art has been featured in galleries around the States. Since 2019 a member of International Guild of Realism .
I layer renaissance rudiments with current approach to textures, make vintage details atypically modern, place realistic figures against abstract backgrounds, set lines free with unexpected color. The subjects of paintings are women, the main thematic elements are eyes.
