Jamie Rose
Jamie Rose is a writer, performance coach, and actor and has worked in TV, Film, and Theater for over 40 years. Her first book, Shut Up and Dance! was published by Tarcher/Penguin and she is currently at work on a memoir about the legacy of alcoholism among the women in her family. She has taught acting seminars at the University of North Carolina and the North Carolina School of the Arts, and created online courses in Dramatic Literature and Introduction to Theater for California State Northridge. Jamie uses her unique approach to coach writers on performing their work aloud and has conducted workshops for organizations such as Pen Center USA. Her private clients have performed at various spoken word venues including The Moth and TedX.
